How Cash Back Sites Work?

Cash back websites have business relationships with the merchants they offer. Each merchant will give these website a referral link, and these websites earn a commission (a percentage of what you pay) for sales that are made using their referral link. The website then gives you back a portion of their commission, or the “cash back” on your transaction.

There are many cash back websites available today, but here are some of the more popular ones:

Rakuten (formerly Ebates) is one of the largest cash back websites on the internet. It is also one of the oldest ones, having been in operation since 1998. Because of this, they have a very large catalog of merchants that offer cash back in addition to the coupons, daily deals, and double cash back bonuses they offer. They send you the earned commision via Check and PayPal.

Honeyhoney rewards

Although they are newer to this business, Honey is a website that is very similar to Rakuten: they offer a large catalog of merchants to shop with, and offer coupons and daily deals. They also offer multiple payout options, including gift cards and payments through PayPal.

TopCashback topcashback

Although TopCashback has a smaller list of available merchants, their cash back percentages are higher than most other websites. They also have a lot of coupons available!

Browser Extensions

Each of the websites we mentioned above also offer browser extensions. As long as you use Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Google Chrome (and some others, depending on the cash back website) to browse the internet, you can install an add-on that is built into your internet browser for each of these websites.

Instead of having to go to these reward websites, you can install a browser extension and be notified if the retailer you are on offers a deal.

US Unlocked Prepaid CardUS Unlocked credit card

Each of the cash back sites listed above have differing terms and conditions. Some of these cannot guarantee a commision when paying with a non-US credit card. Thankfully, Vyking Ship has partnered with US Unlocked to provide you with the ability to get a US-based credit card using your Vyking Ship address.

The USPS has also suspended most services to New Zealand. Packages sent through USPS or USPS through Asendia to New Zealand can only ship via Express.

USPS service to Australia has also been limited. If you are shipping through USPS or Asendia, you must select Express, First Class, or World Tracked.

Any payments received for shipping options that are not available will be refunded, and the package will be re-entered into your Vyking Ship account.
