Thankfully, Vyking Ship has partnered with US Unlocked to give you access to a virtual, prepaid debit card that uses your Vyking Ship account’s address.
What is US Unlocked?
US Unlocked is a really cool service for people who want to buy from stores in the USA but cannot due to payment restrictions. US Unlocked has several benefits including issuance of virtual prepaid debit cards, purchasing US subscription services, and more.
Once you sign up, you will have to load your account with funds, after which you can then shop in two different ways:
- You can pay with a one-time use debit card that expires immediately after use, so your funds are secure and cannot be compromised.
- You can also set up a merchant specific card, which can be used if you are a repeat shopper at a certain store, or this can be used for subscription services. The cards that are created for this use can only be used with the assigned merchant, so if these cards were to be stolen, the card couldn’t be used anywhere else.
By using US Unlocked, you will appear as a customer within the US, bypassing any payment issues you have had with your international payment methods. US Unlocked also has many blog posts with tips and tricks to make the shopping process even easier!
How Do I Sign Up?
Setting up an account is an easy process. Clicking here will bring you to the US Unlocked registration page. Fill out their registration form, verify your email and enter in your home address. After completing the registration, US Unlocked will ask you what you want to use for your billing and shipping address. Simply click on “I already have a forwarding address” and select Vyking Ship. Your US Unlocked payments will then be linked to your Vyking Ship address!
How Much Does It Cost?
There is a one-time fee of $15 when loading your account with funds for the first time. Beyond that, please check US Unlocked’s pricing page for details on costs, and select your country from this list.
